Mach's well, Germany!On a nice campground in Passau to the Ilz spent we today our last morning in Germany with Stefan, the other Reiseradler, which we became acquainted with some days before. We separated outer that from approx. 5 Kilos luggage, which we brought and back to Germany sent still to the post office. |

In the early afternoon it was called then finite: On geht's toward Austria! Now beschlich us a good, in addition, somehow mulmiges feeling: For like for a long time we would take probably parting from Germany? In any case one delicate us nature with beautiful landscape, and prepared a sunny parting from Germany for us. In the evening we missed then the ferry from Au to Grafenau by 10 minutes, and so we broke simply our tent open at the beautiful meadow at the Danube loop in Au. |

13. May: Au - Mitterkirchen, 96 km |

| Of the terribly loud Pfauengeschrei of the close farm waked, we translated first in the morning approx. 4km with one of the ferries on the other Danube bank. On the ferry we became acquainted with a gehörloses pair, which likewise tandem drove and with proverbially hands and we explained each other our wheels and routes to feet. Midday stop was this time in the beautiful Linz, where we came rapidly with many curious Passanten into the discussion. Against evening we asked people of a unmarried house whether we can place ourselves on their meadow. Promptly we were invited to set up our tent on their property and to set if we to like to jump a round into the pool or us to the campfire. Wow! We were overwhelmed of this unexpected hospitality almost and spent an informal evening in circles of this nice family.

14. May: Mitterkirchen - Melk, 73.7 km |

| After our overnight accomodation at the nice family in Mitterkirchen awaked we first in our tent in the rain. Since we did not want to diminish the tent yet, we remained still another one while in the tent, until we were invited again by the nice Austrian family on dte into the house. Again we had a very nice tomorrow with the family, and we were much pleased and about the hospitality, which us assign became, because we were supplied in the best way with Kaffe, dte, cake and breakfast.
Against noon it continued to go then nevertheless for us toward the beautiful Wachau. Unfortunately the weather was on this day not completely so well as usual, but owing to rainproof clothing we had nevertheless a cosy Radeltag. Since it was still rainy in the evening, we took the first time on our journey a room in a youth hostel, which schröpfte completely beautifully our travel chest. |

15. May: Melk - Altenwörth, 64.5 km |

| The Benedikinerkloster is absolutely see worth in milks, which was important in Austria for over 1000 years in religious, and cultural regard. So was for example in 15. Century pin starting point of one of the most important medieval monastery reforms and maintained close connections to the human at the Viennese university. After an inspection of the pin there was the next highlight to see for us. 16. May: Altenwörth - Vienna, 62 km |

| Completely as much perforated by the mosquitoes as feared, we did not wake up at the idyllischen ox-bow of the Danube. To a rich Früstück we continued to drive to the metropolitan city toward Vienna, after we spent last days mainly in smaller villages. We before made still another excursion an Internet cafe, in order to look for us by Hospitylityclub an overnight accomodation for the evening. After some unsuccessful attempts we became then also fündig and landed at Franz and its completely uncomplicated and forestalling group house.

17. May: Vienna - Schönau |

| Our pleasant host Franz showed us on this morning many corners of the Viennese city center thousand thanks here! Vienna is really beautiful, we of after the other beautiful building nearly was killed and got in any case desire to regard to us Vienna again more intensively sometime. Today geht's for us far direction Slowakei, times look as far we come. |
