Why do you ride a tandem?
- Because we like to be together and get moving with united power
Why do you make a tandem trip around the world?
- As long as we can think back, we always liked to travel,
but when the vacation had just begun, it was then already over too quick again.
And only working in the same company counld not have been all to us in our lives.
So slowly we decided to go on a longer journey, and Benny had the idea
Since we drove both always gladly to wheel, the travel means was fast selected
and Benny had the idea to try a tandem out. Since it pleased us both well and also the test runs ran well, we decided with the tandem around the world too radeln.
Are married you?
- No. (in Muslim countries: !)
Have you children?
- No. (in Muslim countries: No, but if we come back! or: Naturally, generally speaking packsack!)
Is your bicycle how expensive?
- Our bicycle was gesponsert generously by the company “hare of special wheels”. (in Muslim countries: Wedding gift of our parents!)
What do your parents say?
- First: Humans, make nevertheless a correct job! Later: Are careful! When do you come home?
Which medical precaution met you?
- Mandy got the rabies inoculation and refurbished Diphterie and Tetanus. Benny: “I could not be inoculated, since I think that inoculation harm and do not use. A health-conscious Lebensführung is however very important!” Our opinion: Do not let you make moved!
How do you finance the journey?
- We had both a firm job, lived economically and had sometime the idea to look for us sponsors. We had large luck and are very grateful that our sponsors with material and a subsidy support us to the ill insurance. In addition we want to work on the way.

- It lasted approx. one and a half years from the idea to the start.
Which Tipps have you to people, which want to undertake a similar journey?
- More simply however more helpfully tap is: Just DO it! Set simply date, save and then also really driving off do not shift! In any case ones one should simple repairs like a hose repair, a spoke replace or the brake course changes to settle to be able.
How do you nourish yourself?
- We are both vegetarians and have in countries where it much meat give, more frequently cooked. Also invitations were never a problem one must to the people only in time inform!
Only does the back one pedal?
- Yes, the preceding endorser sleeps the whole time and then if it uphill goes with a coffee and a whip waked.
